https://penajournal.com/index.php/IJPA/article/view/265

This study aims to introduce dance learning media using Augmented Reality with Movement Literacy
material based on Laban Notation symbols for junior high school students. The background of the
study is based on the low interest of students in learning dance and difficulties in understanding the
elements of space, time, and energy due to the limitations of conventional media that are not in
accordance with the characteristics of the digital generation. The method used is research and
development (R&D) with initial stages including needs analysis, product design, product
development, implementation through limited trials, and product evaluation. The product developed
is an Augmented Reality (AR) application that presents movement literacy based on Laban Notation
in an interactive 3D form, so that students can learn movement visually, kinesthetically, and
reflectively. Initial results based on needs analysis and the designed product show that the
application is considered interesting, easy to use, and helps understand basic dance movements, and
is in accordance with the characteristics of students in the digital era. Teachers gave positive
responses to the potential of this media as a supporter of deep learning that is conscious, meaningful,
and enjoyable. Thus, it is hoped that the AR-Motion Literacy application can be an innovative
alternative in dance learning, especially in stimulating students in learning movement in the digital
era for junior high school students.
Siti FatmasariDinny Devi TrianaJeong OK Jeon

https://penajournal.com/index.php/IJPA/article/view/263

The dance industry faces challenges in economic sustainability due to the increasingly complex and rapidly changing dynamics of the arts market. This study aims to design a sustainable business model that integrates artistic and economic dimensions in dance production practices. By adopting a descriptive qualitative approach and reviewing literature from various sources, this study explores performing arts monetization practices, revenue diversification strategies, and digital technology-based innovations such as crowdfunding, merchandise, and digital products. The study results show that the sustainability of the dance industry is highly dependent on the ability of artists to build an adaptive, collaborative, and culturally value-based business system. The integration of choreographers' artistic visions and economic strategies has been shown to increase the resilience of arts organizations to crises, expand their audience base, and strengthen the socio-economic legitimacy of dance. This study provides a conceptual contribution to the development of an arts business model framework relevant to the context of the creative industry in the digital era, as well as practical implications for artists and policymakers in supporting a sustainable performing arts ecosystem.
Xiao PingNursilah NursilahR. https://penajournal.com/index.php/IJPA/article/view/266

Individualized speech support in diverse early childhood classrooms is a significant pedagogical
challenge, often creating learning disparities. While effective, the scalability of arts-based interventions like the "Phonological Bridge" model is limited by an educator's capacity for one-on- one feedback. This conceptual paper explores, through a literature review, how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can serve as a "pedagogical amplifier" to address this issue. Synthesizing research from computational linguistics, human-computer interaction, and arts-based pedagogy, we propose a model of human-AI collaboration. This framework posits that AI's primary role is not to replace the educator, but to augment their capabilities. The literature suggests AI can automate pronunciation assessment, delivering personalized and immediate feedback to each child at scale. This process generates objective data that empowers teachers to shift from intuitive observation to data-informed intervention, freeing them to focus on higher-order tasks like fostering emotional connection and creativity. We conclude that this collaborative model represents a paradigm shift, recasting the teacher's role from a sole instructor to a designer of enriched learning ecosystems. Its primary implication is the potential to democratize access to high-quality speech practice, promoting greater equity in foundational language skills for the AI era..
Berthanica YohanaRien SafrinaElindra Yetti

Dalem Kadipaten Ngabeyan have an important position in Javanese court dance history as a dance laboratory during 19th century. This research tries to understanding Bedhaya-Srimpi Kadipaten Ngabeyan as a part of court dance tradition in Surakarta and also to understanding Dalem Kadipaten Ngabeyan context. This research tries to integrate historiography method with ethno-philology approach, which try to understanding past culture by text. Bedhaya and Srimpi dance that created in Dalem Kadipaten Ngabeyan cannot be separated with Dutch Colonial context in Java during 19th century. The dance itself represent how Surakarta facing cultural trauma caused by long series of war and internal intrigue. In another hand, many dances from Dalem Kadipaten Ngabeyan represent romantic atmosphere and romanticism of Mataram-Surakarta golden era.
Naufal Anggito YudhistiraI Made SupartaMamlahatun BudurohTurita Indah Setyani
